Toastmasters
As of February 2012, I had decided that in order to reach some of my own personal growth goals, I needed to improve my public speaking skills. So, I ventured out of my comfort zone and found a Toastmasters club in my area.
Although I've been at my club for a few years now, I wasn't actively pursuing the Competent Communicator (CC) title, until this year. After 3 years of being in Toastmasters, I finally achieved my first of my Toastmasters-related goals. To achieve my Competent Communicator title. Since achieving this recognition, I have also achieved both my Competent Leader (CL) and my Advanced Leader Bronze (ALB).
